QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Q: Why do I need a website?
A: Buying habits and the way people do business today has changed. Prospective customers/clients use the Internet to research what they want to buy and who they want to do business with. They are tired of talking to business owners and sales people who will pitch them and possibly hard close them on why they should buy. When a prospect goes to the Internet they can do their research in a non-threatening and relaxed way with no one pressuring them to buy.
Q: What if I don't have products to sell online? Do I still need a website?
A: Websites are not just for selling products. You should use your website to sell what you do in your business. If you clean homes tell your website visitor why you are the best choice for them. If you are a hairstylist tell people why you are the best and what they can expect from you.
Q: I am a Hair Stylist and I work in a Salon that I don't own. Should I have a personal website?
A: Absolutely! There is nothing wrong with you selling YOU. You can even create your own personal business cards to hand out at events with your website. Tell people why they should come to you. If your company allows you and they should, link your prospects from your website to theirs.
Q: How much does a website cost?
A: There are a number of factors that determine the cost. Like number of pages, whether you want a picture gallery to showcase your work, whether you want to sell products on your website, do you need video on your site and whether you need a password protected back end for you and/or your clients.
Q: How much will you (that's me at Affordable Websites) charge me?
A: My advice is that before you contact me for a price, please Google website developers in your area and ask them what they will charge you to create the website you want. Then call me and make sure you're sitting down because my price will shock you for sure.
Q: Can you create sophisticated websites?
A: The websites I create are basic in nature and I only use Weebly. That's why I can save you a considerable amount of money not just on creating your site but also on ongoing fees which are usually zero for basic sites. Take a look at the sites I have created and decide for yourself. If you require anything more sophisticated I can refer you to the trusted partners I work with. Though you should be prepared to pay for what you get with them.
