I have always loved lighthouses.  In fact for those of you who have been to my office you know how many lighthouses I have. 

So I have sometimes wondered what this fascination is that I have with lighthouses.  Is it that they are a symbol of hope?  Or maybe that they signify resilience as they stand unmoved on the rocks smashed by the waves and the wind and still they stand there majestically, shining their light of hope.

So through all the turmoil we have seen in our lives are we still uplifting those around us?  I believe that through that act of uplifting others that we in fact uplift ourselves.
